Tiered Blue Dress

The tiered silhouette is all the rage at the moment. I’m all in. If you are a maker, there are several sewing patterns on offer. I have listed a few below. Also on the website is a new category in the Directory called “A Trend Towards Tiers.” There I will post all things tiered.

This blue cotton dress I used a pattern found at www.hawthronesupplyco.com. The name of the pattern is “The Wilder Gown” and is in their pattern drop down menu. This on-line shop has some gorgeous fabrics too. Mostly cottons, the quality is scrumptious. The thread they supply is also lovely, Aurifil, comes in several weights. This blue fabric is one I’ve had in my stash for years, and for the life of me I cannot remember where I found it. If memory serves me, it is a Japanese cotton gauze.

The high top converse kicks I discovered watching one of the many amazing YouTube’s called “Where Did You Get That” by @karenbritchick. She also gave the hot tip on where to find them, www.farfetch.com. They are so comfortable with that wedge addition.
