Wearable or Art? Original Designs

A treasure garden of original designs. These ensembles were created specifically for either exhibition or fashion show. Most of ensembles took the better part of a year to design and create, using techniques I have learned over many years of studies. I also like to think I have created my own school/academy of fashion. While not traditionally schooled through the typical University, I traveled the world attending workshops, retreats, and seminars in the art of textiles.

I have been fortunate to study with world famous teachers and professors of both art and textiles.

You will see several techniques in these pieces, from appliqué, both hand and machine quilting, paper piecing, embroidery, beading, and vintage stitches just to name a few.
