Instagram LIVE w/ Tarion Taylor
An invitation came my way last January. @artfulcitystyle invited me to join her for a photo shoot for some new music coming out. She said, come on, it will be fun. The producer/song writer and singer wanted some fashionistas to help with their vision to promote the songs. I had no idea what the music was, nor did I know any of the musicians or crew. I was simply given a date and time to show up, with instructions to bring some ‘colorful’ clothes. So with my new vintage purchase of an orange dress from lofty vintage, my cowgirl boots, fresh hair style and color, and my nervous soul, I showed up. When I walked in my nerves were set at ease within moments.
Tarion, the singer, approached me and started complimenting me on my boots, hair, etc. I knew this was going to be good fun. I’d never ‘acted’ before. For each song there was a theme, we were given a few tips on what the song was about, what kind of actions we needed to make, then ready, set, ‘take 1’, we began.
It was an experience of a lifetime. And I also happened to love the music, and @tariontaylor and @prodbyzig cast were gorgeous, positive, and so kind. It was indeed a blast. Here are some photos and a little video @robert.gelber took as I was interviewed on a LIVE IG party when Tarion celebrated the release of the first song, “For Real For Real.” There will be many more songs released over the coming months. You will also see fashionistas @artfulcitystyle and @nitaangeletti in them too! Congratulations @tariontaylor and thank you for letting me be part of your journey.
